Sim! Cortei o cabelo! Quem me adicionou no facebook já sabe da novidade, mas o que EU não sabia, era o sucesso e repercussão do corte! Estou finalmente nos EUA, no estado de Vermont e aqui é muito raro encontrar alguém com cachos naturais, então depois de perguntarem várias vezes se meus cachos são naturais, a resposta já vem naturalmente: "sim, sem uma gota de química, pela primeira vez na vida!"

Yes! I've cut my hair! Those who added me on facebook already knew about this change, but what I didn't know was the hit and positive repercussion my haircut had! I'm finally in the US, in the state of Vermont, and around here is really rare to find somebody with natural curls. So after being asked hundreds of time if my curls were natural, the answer comes easily: "yes, without a drop o chemicals, for the first time in my life!"

Headband de turbante / Turban headband

Essa é uma das minhas headbands favoritas. Além de ter a estampa galaxy, ela imita um turbante sem precisar ter todo aquele trabalho de "torce daqui-inverte a ponta pra lá". Com certeza ela vai estar na minha mala para os Estados Unidos. Sobre a viagem, eu farei um intercâmbio e lá darei aula de português em uma faculdade além de assistir aulas. Presentão de Deus. Assim ó:de graça! ;)

This is one fo my favorites headbands. Not only it has the galaxy print but it also has that turban twist - literally - to it, which spares me from the oh-so confusing "twist one of the tips and pass it around the scarf" troubles. It will certainly be in my bag when I move to the United States. Concerning the trip, at the United States I'll be as an exchange student at a university, not only attending classes but also teaching Portuguese. It was a major gift from God. One of those gifts He just hand over, for free! ;)

Ainda bem que o meu pai não se importa / I'm glad my father doesn't mind

    Por vezes já falei da minha paixão pelas blusas de botão do meu pai, como aqui. O leve inverno carioca tem sido a perfeita desculpa para utilizar bastante a peça. Aos longos dos dias, descobri formas diferentes de utilizar o item, e até já comprei para ele (e indiretamente, para mim) uma linda blusa de botão de flanela, como presente de dia dos pais adiantado.

  Again and again I've expressed my love for my father's buttom-down shirts, like here, for instance. The slightly cool carioca winter has been the perfect excuse for me to constantly wear his shirts. However, thoughout the weeks, I've come up different ways to wear it, in order to always keep the outfit fresh and up to date.
