On this last post about New York (check the other posts about the Big Apple here) I decided to point out some minutiae (a topic I love) I found around in the city. And since it's the World Cup, here's a World Cup curiosity involving New York: because the United Sates has been having such a good run on the World Cup, many Americans have turned their attention to football to the point that the mayor of New York decided to give public workers two hours for lunch during the last game the US had against Germany. The conclusion being it's nice to be a public worker anywhere! :)
